Terms of service
These terms cover your use of DiagramDock. They are shorter than most because there is no account, no subscription and no service holding your files.
Using DiagramDock
DiagramDock is provided free of charge, as-is. You may use it for personal or commercial work without a licence fee.
Your content
Diagrams you create are yours. We claim no rights over them, and could not exercise any if we did — we never receive them.
Templates
Templates supplied with DiagramDock may be used freely, including in commercial work, and diagrams created from them are yours.
Local storage and loss of work
This is the most important clause. Your diagrams exist only in your browser. If you clear your browser data, use a private window, switch device or browser, or if the browser evicts storage under pressure, your diagrams may be lost. DiagramDock cannot restore deleted local projects, because no copy exists anywhere else. Export anything you would be sorry to lose.
Backups
Export and backup features are provided to help you keep your work. Verifying that a backup restores correctly is your responsibility — we recommend testing it once rather than discovering the answer when you need it.
Availability
The site is static and may be unavailable at times for reasons including hosting problems. Because the app can run offline once cached, availability of the site does not necessarily affect access to your existing diagrams.
Browser limitations
Storage limits, performance and feature support vary between browsers and devices. Large diagrams may be slower on modest hardware. We document known limits rather than promising unlimited scale.
Acceptable use
See the acceptable use policy. In summary: do not use DiagramDock to plan clearly illegal activity, and do not attempt to use imported files as an attack vector.
Intellectual property
The DiagramDock name, interface and code are ours. The diagrams you make with it are not.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, DiagramDock is provided without warranty and we are not liable for loss of data or consequential loss arising from its use. Given that your data never reaches us, the practical protection against loss is your own backups.
Changes
Material changes to these terms will be noted in the changelog.
