Cookie policy
DiagramDock sets no cookies. Not "only essential cookies" — none at all. That means there is no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
What we do not use
No cookies of any kind: no session cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party cookies. Nothing on this site writes to document.cookie.
What we do use, and why it is different
DiagramDock uses two browser storage mechanisms, and they are worth distinguishing from cookies because they behave differently. IndexedDB is a structured database inside your browser; it holds your diagrams and images. LocalStorage is a simple key-value store; it holds interface preferences such as whether you last used grid or list view.
Why the distinction matters
Cookies are sent to a server with every request. That is what makes them useful for tracking, and why they are regulated the way they are. IndexedDB and LocalStorage are never transmitted anywhere — the data sits on your device and is read only by code running in your browser. In DiagramDock's case there is no server to send anything to regardless.
Controlling it
You can remove everything from the privacy centre, or by clearing site data in your browser settings. Both permanently delete your diagrams, since no copy exists elsewhere.
If this changes
If cookies are ever introduced, this page will be updated first and any consent required will be requested properly rather than assumed.
