Network diagram maker
Routers, switches, firewalls and the boxes between them. The symbols are generic and drawn from scratch, so nothing here carries a vendor licence.

Building one
From blank canvas to finished diagram
- 1Place the boundary first — internet, cloud, or whatever sits outside your control.
- 2Add the devices that traffic passes through, working inward from that boundary.
- 3Connect them, labelling links with whatever actually matters: protocol, VLAN, bandwidth.
- 4Add hostnames or addresses to the nodes so the diagram is usable during an incident, not just in a review.
Where it helps
Good uses
Onboarding an engineer
The mental model that otherwise takes three months to acquire.
Incident response
A diagram nobody can find at 3am may as well not exist.
Change proposals
Easier to argue about a picture than a paragraph.
Audit evidence
Auditors want the topology, not a description of it.
Questions
Asked often
- Are vendor logos included?
- No. Every symbol is drawn from DiagramDock's own shape set. That keeps diagrams free of trademark and licensing questions.
- Can I add IP addresses?
- Yes. Each node takes a label plus notes, so hostnames and addresses live on the diagram.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. Network topology is sensitive, and this one never leaves your browser.
- Can I export it?
- Project files work now. Image and PDF export arrive with the export phase.
