What it is for
A starting shape for any process you are drawing for the first time. It has one of everything — a terminator, sequential steps, a decision with two labelled branches, and a loop back — so you can rename the boxes rather than working out the grammar from scratch.
More about the flowchart makerWhen it helps
- You know the process but have never drawn one before
- You want a skeleton to rename rather than a blank canvas
- Teaching someone what the shapes mean
