Add shapes
Placing shapes, and adding connected ones quickly.
Press S or choose the shape tool, pick a shape from the palette, then click the canvas to place it.
Quick-add is faster
Select an existing shape and small plus handles appear on each side. Clicking one creates a connected shape, positions it, and puts the label straight into edit mode.
The whole add-connect-label sequence is a single undo step, so one press of Ctrl+Z removes all of it rather than leaving a stray connector behind.
